27th Nov 2011 - Surrey Indoor Championships:

The Surrey Indoors is held in November at the Woking Sports centre. And every year Mole Valley turn out in good numbers to pit themselves against the rest of the county. This year was no exception with Mark, David, Amy, Louise, John and Joe taking part. To cap it off the club had a very successful day! Well done to all those who took part.

The club came first in the Surrey team event (Louise, John, Joe).

Louise won the Ladies Surrey and Open titles.

Joe also managed to walk away with 4 medals (2nd Junior Gent, a session medal, a handicap medal and the team medal)!

20th Nov 2011 - Four Went to Angmering: 

On Sunday 20th November four hardy souls from MVB set out on a cold and very foggy morning to take part in the 43rd Arundown AC Indoor Tournament at Angmering near Worthing.

Joanna, Glenda and Joe did double Portsmouth Rounds, and John in a moment of insanity did a Triple Portsmouth (186 arrows in all).

Though shooting against the best that the south coast can offer MVB archers came away with a good haul of Medals and 3 Personal Best scores.

Not bad on a day when most would have preferred to stay at home.
