Firstly a BIG apology to all from me for the lack of updates on the website over the past few months as I know many of you check the site out on a regular basis for news etc. Hopefully now Daniel (6 months and rising) is not awake 24/7 I can get some time to update bits.
Club Colours
Many of you will have noticed me wandering around in a red/black polo shirt recently. These are our new club colours and I'm pleased to announce that they are now available for purchase should you require one (or more). Many clubs now have club colours and the effect is very striking on the shooting line. Its a little more colourful than standard green or white. Do not however, feel that you have to have one as green and white is still more than acceptable.

Beginners Courses
The annual beginners courses continue to pack them in with club membership growing hugely over the past couple of years mostly as a direct result of the courses. The next one is scheduled for September. Do not feel that you have to be an experienced archer to help. ALL help is gratefully recieved. Remember, you were a beginner once, and if no one had turned up to help, you wouldn't be shooting now.
Noisy bows disturb horses!
Yes, I know it sounds a little far fetched but apparently our 4 legged neighbours are being spooked by the sound of bows being loosed. They notice it only when we have archers shooting between the container and the big trees, and it tends to be only during the summer when the horses can't see whats causing the noise.
So, to maintain equine harmony, the committee are requesting that in future ALL shooting is carried out on the school side of the big trees. If we show willing at this stage we may be able to negotiate something better during the winter months.
